YAE exhibition: Palma de Mallora

On October 27th, the e-ducation in progress organization hosted the YAE exhibition in Palma de Mallorca at La Vermutante. The exhibition aimed to showcase the unique artwork of three young artists, namely Nik, Špela, and Leila, who each created a series of five photos.

The event provided a great opportunity for the artists to showcase their work and receive offers from visitors. For one of them, it was their first exhibition, which inspired them to propose their artwork to more galleries. More than 30 like-minded individuals attended the exhibition, and all three series of photos were on display for the visitors to appreciate. Nik is a young photographer from Slovenia who will be exhibiting five portraits of local people in Mallorca. His goal was not only to capture the subjects' faces but also their stories. He collaborated with local artists, brands, and businesses to create a visually stunning series. Nik mentioned that the individuals present in Palma are cordial and receptive to different ideas. Špela pursued her passion for equestrian photography and collaborated with a local photographer who gave her a photography assignment to capture the horses and their riders. Through this experience, she developed a love for the equestrian sport culture. She appreciated the teamwork and lack of competition within the community. Leila had the job of photographing people at work. She chose to follow her photographer friends to different locations and document their work. She said that the experience was great and that she's definitely coming back.
