I was born in Vienna in 1971 as the youngest of four siblings. My Father was an excellent Violinist for Classic and Jazz. First he fled the Russian occupation of Hungary to Vienna, where he met my mother.
Art is in our family's blood, but I became an actor instead of a musician, which my family thought was a shame.
But I didn't give up music completely either, so in my later years I was able to delight a willing audience with various jazz singing performances in the Marriot Hotel and at the Skybar in Vienna.
But my focus was always on theater and film, so I completed many different training courses. From the first private lessons, then on to the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna, to St. Petersburg (Russia), to the State Academy of Dramatic Art. Workshops at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with Kevin Spacey and Keith Johnstone also contributed a lot to my artistic maturation.
Afterwards I played larger roles in small theaters and film productions and smaller leading roles in large theaters and larger film productions, including a few times with Nina Kusturica, Xaver Schwarzenberger, Rafael Eisenman, Peter Patzak, Andreas Kornprobst, Hans Werner, Christian Görlitz, Michaele Hurdes-Galli, Harald Sicheritz, Harry Kupfer, Dietmar Pflegern, John Dew, to name just a few.
But what made me really proud were my own theater productions, which I also directed. With one we even went all the way to Moscow to the Taganka-Theater where we played Chekhov's "The Proposal" and “The Bear” in German. That was crazy back then.
I didn't get my big break into stardom, but when my son was born, I wanted to see him grow up. So, with a heavy heart, I decided to pursue a regular job. First as a trainer for acting, directing and speaking techniques, later as a trainer in adult education, where I have been working happily to this day. Now I feel like you know me better than I know myself.
