The Botín Foundation's mission is to contribute to the comprehensive development of society, exploring new ways of detecting creative talent and betting on it to generate cultural, social and economic wealth.
In the artistic field, and with this objective very present, since the nineties it has been granting aid to plastic artists so that they can develop their artistic projects.
In this new call, the Botín Foundation offers six scholarships for artists of any nationality with a planned duration of nine months and a financial award of 23,000 euros per aid, including the concepts of travel, accommodation, maintenance, studio rental, etc., in addition to medical insurance in case you need to travel to a country other than your residence. The amount of the scholarships, which will be direct, indivisible, non-transferable and incompatible with any other institutional aid for the same concept, will be delivered 45% at the beginning of the enjoyment, 25% in the following two calendar quarters and the remaining 5% at receipt of the final report of the project.
