Dessislaw Pajakoff, photographer

Satirist, Photographer, Coach . He started with several theatrical productions of students and amateurs before getting into comedy especially its Austrian variant „Kabarett“.
„Kabarett“could be described as a

crossover between standup comedy, politcal satire and the works of Franz Kafka. From 1986 to 1997 with the group „die Ratten“, from 1998 on solo under the name „Dessi Pajakoff”. 

At the same time I work as photographer, both for comedic and my own projects. Comedy/Kabarett and photography have in common that those were creative fields that made me less dependent on other people like in theatrical productions or bands. 

In Comedy and in photography I focus on people, either as part of street photography or in  portraiture. So my work coaching people between job is a consequence of my interest in people and  their behaviour.  In the end the performer would always need a person who records them and this would be the  photographer.  Additional I work as an author for TV and radio Comedy Shows produced by the Austrian broadcast  company.
